Echium candicans 'Star of Madeira'

Agave 'Cubic'

Agave 'Cubic'

A monstrose form of Agave potatorum. It makes leaves that look like they were several leaves in one all competing to be next, kind of mass multiple conjoined leaves. Seems like what you'd imagine if there were four plants merged in a Star Trek transporter accident.

Compact aloe with prominent with spines on the edges of leaves larger than other spines making them look like a row of shark teeth or as the common name implies tiger's teeth. Suckers form very heavy and turn the plant into a dense stand of many plants.

Amazing colored hybrid. The picture says it all.  Might be a bit more cold hardy but I only just got this one this year. Lots of offsets to form nice clump.

Nice compact cold hardy plant for small container planting scapes like I do.  Only problems i have are like with most succulents--keeping them from being soggy all winter in our long winter rains--in the years we get them.  Redder color with more light.  Sends out logs of pups or offsets over time to spread.  You can clip these off and root them to propagate more for more containers.

Green Coral Red-orange, winter spring bloom 2-3' 2-3'

This variant of coral aloe has much more pronounced striping. Same size and flower color. A large, but stemless aloe. Needs little water, can get very full leaves with more water--yet can cause leaves to split if kept to wet and can rot in cold 30s if soggy.

Graptopetalum paraguayense 'Ghost Plant'

Graptopetalum paraguayense

Another member of the jade family that I love for the ability to root new plants from even just the leaves.  Many do this but this one is also hardy to 25F.  Very interesting color that brightens up a planter.
